Where sexual inhibition was abandoned with gusto. Under the blaze of the African sun sits a strange village of English country-houses tinged with a carefree allure. Here in this setting lived a group of white hedonists, known as the Happy Valley set. Their aim was to re-establish an aristocratic air in a vast, exploitable and soothingly pastoral corner of the planet, full of native people to subjugate and devoid of modern industrial democracy.

The capricious band of protagonists who made up the Happy Valley set held many nights full of games. Yet on one of these nights the game would not end in the bed with a stranger. It would end in murder. A murder that till this day.
